At Edge, our approach to nutrition emphasizes sustainable, healthy changes that last! We believe in an individualized, flexible and non threatening approach that helps you achieve your goals at a realistic pace resulting in longer lasting change. Whether you are looking to lose weight, train for your first marathon, gain lean muscle mass, lose body fat or energize your day, Edge Fitness and RD Kate Fischer gives you the tools and knowledge necessary to reach your goals.
Visits are tailored to you – here are ideas from our clients:
- Nutrition Coaching Session (in office or at home): weight loss, sports nutrition, weight gain, balancing food and fitness, eating on a budget – money or time, easy to prepare meals, and more!
- Intake evaluation: vitamins, minerals, energy, macronutrients, hydration, timing, etc.
- Menu and meal planning
- Grocery shopping
- Eating on the road, healthy restaurant choices
- Recipe review and modifications
- Sports specific nutrition plans: marathons, triathlons, hiking, etc.
