Integrated NUTRITION PROGRAM
Nutrition at Edge Fitness takes a fresh look at a topic that is present daily in all of our lives. Our approach is one of coaching versus telling, providing you with the knowledge and tools necessary to make lasting changes, rather than temporary or fad diets.
Our Edge nutrition team is comprised of long time colleagues Kate Fischer, registered dietitian, and Ian Rubin, Food Coach and Holistic Trainer, bringing you a two-pronged approach to lasting and positive nutrition change. Kate works with each client to provide a personalized plan, from specific menu planning (families/individuals), to restaurant recommendations for those on the go, weight loss strategies tailored to the individual, and specific sports nutrition plans so athletes are able to perform at their best. Ian works in concert with Kate to help clients practically implement nutrition change, working through common barriers. Ian’s services include: Kitchen Fitness Assessments, cooking classes and workshops (in-home and at Edge), grocery shopping tours, and one-on-one and group meals. These Food 4 Thought meals explore the emotional influence food can have over our lives.
