Kim has been teaching her students to improve their movement habits and quality of life for more than 15 years using the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education. Kim’s interests have always included walking, cycling, hiking, and swimming. Over the years, she has grown even more aware of the ways self-image, physical capacity, and identity shifts influence an individual’s fitness level and ability to be resilient in the face of loss. Kim believes that life will always carry some degree of loss but that it is possible to live a satisfying life even while processing grief. Kim lives and practices in Portland, Oregon.  For more information about Kim and her practice please visit: www.kimcottrell.com.

*The Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education is a educational method. A person uses the method/strategies to learn what they are doing so they can do what they want.
